When people talk about Stock Trading, complexity doesn’t come to mind. That is because the trades can only have two outcomes – yes, it is as predicted and, no, not as predicted.
But that also doesn’t at all mean that the stocks and shares trading is easy to practice. There is a vast array of assets one can trade – stocks and trades, and the number continues to grow. However, the various assets that are offered different from broker to broker.
It would be really convenient to have the opportunity to trade stocks whenever you like, unfortunately, it doesn’t work quite like this. This is because stock exchanges are opened for trades at certain hours during the weekdays. The same goes for the shares markets.
Trading Hours and Schedules for Stocks
As we mentioned above, the three main trading markets are the Stock Markets and the Shares Markets. Let’s now have a closer look at those three categories separately.
Stocks Trading Hours
The popular traded assets are the assets in the American stock market. The stock market there opens at 9:30 AM and closes at 16:00 PM Eastern European Time on weekdays.
If you, as a trader want to implement different strategies when trading, you would be indeed very interested to know that trading activity normally falls to low levels from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, which logically is the lunch break for the traders.
However, when we talk about the European Stock Market, the hours are different. The Market opens at 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM and ends between 15:30 and 16:30 PM on weekdays.
The Australian Stock Market starts at 1:00 AM and ends at 7:00 AM during weekdays.
